Based in the heart of the Derwent Valley Tasmania, at 41 High Street New Norfolk, Williams Outdoors is a locally owned and operated family business established by Ray Williams in 1999.
Ray’s business grew from humble beginnings with only a half a dozen firearms in the local hardware store, now stocking over two-hundred new and used firearms along with a wide range of ammunition, hunting accessories, fishing gear and camping gear, Williams Outdoors is now a destination for all your fishing and hunting needs.
Our team members are passionate hunters and fishermen that all have extensive knowledge and experience in their fields. We pride ourselves on our customer service and are proud of the variety and quality of the products we bring to the Derwent Valley - Southern Tasmania.
We are eager to expand our online website for our customers to enjoy. Our website shows only a small portion of the products we stock. As our website progresses we will keep adding more. About Ray Williams
Country born and bred, Ray has always had a passion for hunting and fishing. Whilst working with the NAB Bank from 1966 to 1988, his role took him to many country towns through out Victoria and Tasmania, enabling him to meet new people and hunt and fish throughout the two States. Ray has developed a close association with the local Derwent Valley Field and Game Club and has also been on committees for Hobart Gun Club, Metropolitan Gun Club, and Mersey Clay Target Club in earlier years. One of Ray’s most rewarding achievements has been to mentor the students at Hutchins School Sports Shooting Team over the past decade.
